Múlt és Jövo {Past and Future} Periodical and Book Publishing House continues the work of the periodical of the same name, which was established and edited by József Patai between 1911 and March 1944. This traditional institution of the Hungarian Jewish culture was re-established by János Kobányai in 1989, in the year of the Hungarian democratic transformation. The quarterly and the Publishing House with its 20-30 titles annually present the works of the universal Jewish culture: belles-lettres, scholarly and philosophical works, fine arts, and children's literature. It also intends to publish the musical heritage of the Central European Jewish culture.
